Hailing from parts scattered across the North East of England, Sense Offender combine the weight of Sludge, the intricacy of Mathcore and delivery of Hardcore to create something which is both overwhelming and claustrophobic whilst breath takingly beautiful at the same time. Taking personal anguish, pain and emotions then turning them into a raw audio equivalent. A vehicle for our collective exorcism. FFO GAZA, Cult Leader

Hailing from Leeds rising from the ashes of DAO, this quintet delivers a subtle but fresh nod to the greats from the 90’s. Taking a slower groovier approach but still uncompromising. Weighty production and distortion go a long way in this kind of music, but every note is heard and not to the detriment of the band’s sound or message. FFO Coalesce, Converge, Deadguy

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this.

Have only listened to the first three tracks so far. Somehow the indie/grunge/funereal/doom elements meld together well. Well worth a listen! 😁 Update - couldn't stop listening. No weak tracks. Music that won't stand still, but holds up well throughout. My favourite non-electronic release for some time. Thanks so much for the code! 😎

A grand display that's equally gorgeous and grotesque! Churning, writhing rhythms lay the groundwork for caustic, venomous vocals and discordant melodies that remind me of a death metal version of Blut Aus Nord. One of 2023's best metal albums!
